La Trobe Aspire Program

Aspire Community Contribution Program
Open to domestic and international students
Requirements: Year 12 pass, VCE minimum prerequisite study scores and ATAR required
At La Trobe, we believe there is more to being a good student than marks alone.
The Community Contribution, Aspire Early Entry Program rewards the skills and knowledge students gain from the positive impact they have made on their school or community through community service, leadership, or volunteering.
Successful applicants also receive their early conditional offer late September or early October for their chosen course along with minimum ATAR requirements. Many courses have a minimum ATAR of 55.00, but some professional degree programs have higher requirements.
Up to 40 Aspire scholarships, worth $5,000 per year for up to four years, will be awarded to leading eligible Aspire students.
The Aspire ATAR Table shows the minimum ATAR for some degree courses for entry through Aspire in 2025. Should an applicant’s preferred course not be listed on this table, then the minimum ATAR is 50.00.
Applicants are required to provide information about the length and frequency of their community service and/or volunteering experience.
Types of volunteering include –
- fundraising for charity
- helping to run a school or community club
- coaching a sports team
- volunteering at a nursing home
- mentoring younger students
- leading as a school or house captain
Applications are open and close 6 September 2024. Further details can be found at Community Contribution, Study with us, Aspire Early Admissions Program, La Trobe University. Students will also need to make a VTAC application.
