ANZAC Day Service

School Captains, Siena Grant and Fletcher Holz, attended the Beaufort ANZAC Day Service, while School Leaders, Reagan Fulford, Riley Burrill and Alicia O'Connor attended the Skipton Service, as representatives of BSC. After laying wreaths and paying their respects to our service men and women, the students took some time to interact with other community members, who had come together to mark this important day in our history.

We also held our annual ANZAC Assembly, with special guests, Don Carnes, President of the Ripon Beaufort RSL, Des Weller from Ararat Legacy and School Council President, Tanya Kehoe. Hosted by our School Leaders, the event was a fantastic way for our students to pay their respects to all who have served or are currently serving in our Defence Force, especially those who lost their lives at Gallipoli. At the close of the Assembly, SRC members laid poppies in honour of the fallen.

Breakfast Club runs every Monday and Wednesday morning from 8:30am in the Student Centre. This is a joint initiative of the Victorian Government and Foodbank and provides students with a variety of free, nutritious breakfast options including toast, muesli, yoghurt, pancakes, toasted sandwiches and fruit. Students are most welcome to come and help themselves to whatever they feel like on the day.

Doctors In Schools

Our fortnightly Doctors in Schools Service (DISS) has commenced and will continue throughout the year. This is a valuable service that we are incredibly fortunate to have access to. If any students would like to arrange an appointment, please see either Jackie or Mrs Newberry.
