The Year 2 Excursion to Cranbourne Gardens today was a fantastic day.

Year 1 students had a great time on their Community Walk to Mt Waverley shops and library.

Year 2 students learnt about emotions in their Resilience Project lesson.

Year 1's have been reading the Mentor Text 'Florette' by Anna Walker.  Students used her idea from the book to draw our own chalk plants.  They also planted some seeds to grow.  Students are also bringing in some treasures from home in a treasure bag like Mae in the book.  They added them to their Writers Notebooks as a seed.

Year 3's have been reading and learning about some of 'The World's Most Atrocious and Ridiculous Animals' by Phillip Bunting.  Student's have made some amazing models.

More models were made that were sea sheep, they are not to scale - they are 10mm in real life!

Year 2's read the book ANZAC Biscuits, structured a procedure text and then tasted ANZAC biscuits.

Students had a fantastic time on camp enjoying activities such as kayaking, zip line, giant swing and yabbying.
