Mother’s Day Stall – Helpers Needed
Every year, Syndal South runs a Mother’s Day stall in the school hall. It’s a chance for our students to purchase a gift for their mother/grandmother/special person for Mother’s Day and it’s a much-loved event on our yearly calendar.
We really need some more helpers to sell at the stall on Friday 10th May from 8.30am to 12.30pm (approx).
You would be helping students to choose gifts based on how much money they have to spend or taking their money and giving change. We also sell raffle tickets.
If you have time to help us out, please sign up at https://volunteersignup.org/8EWBM. It’s a great morning interacting with our students, helping them to choose the best gifts for their mums.
Cross Country
Congratulations to everyone who ran the in the annual Year 3 - 6 Cross Country last Friday, and to those who made it into the District Competition.
The Parents’ Association was very pleased to be able to offer every student a piece of fruit at the finish line. There were apples, mandarins and orange pieces for everyone. Thank you to Libby and Michelle who helped out for the afternoon. There were a lot of oranges to cut up – 4 platters worth – but they were all eaten and appreciated.
Thanks also to Tom from the Big Watermelon who helped us with good prices for their top-quality fruit. Yum!
