Mother's Day: Year 6 Leadership Report
Mother's Day Stall Reflection
On the 3rd of May, 8:30am, the lovely St Joseph's parents and our helpful Social Justice Leaders came together to put together our traditional Mother's Day Stall.
The day was a hit with enthusiastic students giggling with excitement as they charged to the tables ready to make their mothers have the greatest Mother's Day ever!
There were lots of gifts that we prepared for the event. We had provided adorable mugs, thoughtful good luck charms, aesthetic candles, cherishable bedtime stories, comfy sleep masks, trendy claw clips, and shimmering necklaces.
We would like to thank our Vice Principal, Mrs Harrison, the parent helpers, and our fellow Social Justice Leaders for this day.
We hope all the Mothers had an awesome Mother's Day!
Mother's Day Breakfast
On the 10th of May we had the Mother's Day Breakfast.
The Year 6 Social Justice leaders helped out on the day by handing out flowers to the mums, grandparents and special women that entered through the gate. We also walked around with platters of food including quiches, sausage rolls, sandwiches, fruit and muffins, which we offered to all the women. Some dads gave up their time and volunteered to make the food that was served for this special day. After the breakfast, all the school and visitors gathered in the atrium for our annual Mother's Day Assembly. Well done to the Year Three students on such a wonderful assembly.
In conclusion, the Mother's Day breakfast was a huge success.
