Science

Year 7 Science has dived hands-first into making oobleck, a non-Newtonian fluid that dances on the border between liquid and solid. Andrew Greenfield engaged students with this gooey experience that brought the concept of states of matter to life. The excitement was palpable as students experimented with the oobleck, exploring how it could flow through their fingers like a liquid yet solidify under pressure.

Textiles

Some students have extended their sewing skills during Food and Fibre classes to create small pencil cases.

Distance Education

Students are studying a range of subjects in 'Corro' - the school's pet name for Distance Ed. They are well and truly into the routine of juggling their own schedules, setting priorities and maintaining their motivation to complete work. Assessment Tasks have also started for Units 1, 2, 3 and 4 across a range of subjects.

Outdoor Education

These lucky students took the canoes for a paddle on the pondage last week. The conditions were perfect for refining their skills in preparation for their paddling camp.
