Foundation News

It has been a wonderful start to school for our 2024 Foundation students.

During the first week, the students participated in an adventure around our school as we followed some clues to help us become familiar with our way around.

In the photos below you can see Natalie reading the clues to our students. The clues were all delivered on fish and then our little underwater students swam their way between the Library, the Quiet Area, the Sick Bay and the Kitchen Dining Room. The hunt ended back in our classroom where the students created their very own Rainbow Fish.

Last week we celebrated Pancake Tuesday enjoying delicious pancakes, made fresh in our kitchen with eggs straight from our SKiPPS chickens.

Foundation students are participating in weekly P.E. sessions. Last week we started rotations of Tunnel Ball, an obstacle course through the playground and playing the game Fruit salad. The students relished in cheering each other on and challenging themselves with new skills, particularly within the obstacle course.

In the coming weeks, we will continue to enjoy our time together as we practice singing our performance song for the fete and continue our journey with learning in the classroom.
