Student Leadership Update

Welcome to our School Captain's Report! 

Lily:

Hi, I’m very excited about our second newsletter for the year. This week I would like to talk about camp. This week the seniors are going to Lorne for a super fun surfing trip.  We are leaving on Wednesday and we'll be returning on Friday. Next week the school captains will be attending a student lead info day in Geelong. The week after we will be going to a conference in Melbourne!

Aya:

Hi, I would like to share exciting events coming this week and the week after! Last week we had our second assembly for the year, preps were there as well! It was great to see our buddies sitting down and looking up at us. Something coming up this week is surf camp! The SLA will go down to Lorne and learn or showcase their surf skills. Something I’m really excited to see is Mrs Weller and Mrs Washington surfing on sand. That is all from me, thank you and see you next time!

Damian:

Hello, coming up is athletics. Athletics is going to be great and everyone is going to get a run-in! It’s going to be awesome, there’s going to be lots of activities like the high jump and lots of other activities. When we get there everyone will split up into their house teams. There are four teams: Shannon Sharks, Aberdeen Aviators, George Dragons, and Skene Snakes.  Have fun!

Hamish: 

Hi, this is my second newsletter of the 2024 year! Some things I am excited about are the SLA surf camp in Lorne, athletics, and future conferences. It has also been really fun to host the assemblies, hand out awards, and announce the house point winners.
