Forest School

Rope swings, water play, haybale parkour, soccer matches, sandpit restaurants, chicken cuddles, mud play, bunnies jumping out of pipes, native cordage, garden-bed exploration, mining for minerals, egg examination (have they been fertilised?) …

Forest School offers the opportunity for engagement in so many different activities, spanning a broad spectrum of the curriculum, whilst supporting the children’s self-esteem and emotional regulation. The children dive into their chosen activities with absolute delight and dedication.

We’re sad to be missing Forest School this Wednesday due to the weather conditions and our visit to Sunbury Heights … I’m certain it will remind us how blessed we are to be in this magnificent bushland setting for the majority of our school days.
