Principal's Report

Dear Families

It's been a marvellous week at Macedon Primary School.

I'd like to start this week's newsletter with a very sincere thank you to the school community for the outstanding response to the Fire Danger Day Relocation last Thursday and again today.

Your quick responses to messages are greatly appreciated and support our work to make all the arrangements that are required.

The staff responses have been incredible and highlight their professionalism, dedication and versatility.

We've had two lovely days in the Sunbury Heights Hub. The students have been absolutely wonderful.

In last week's newsletter, I mentioned the donation of two large tubs of Lego from one of our families. The timing was perfect, as you can see in the photos below.

District Swimming Sports

Our students represented the school magnificently today. It was terrific to see their enthusiasm for their events and the performances of their team-mates. Fortunately, overcast weather made conditions a lot more comfortable, than expected, at the pool.

Thank you to David, for organising the school team, the sports themselves and for officiating on the day.

House Cross Country - Friday 1st March

Students are encouraged to wear their house colours to the Macedon Primary School cross country on Friday. As this will be the first school sport event for the Foundation students, they will have support for the walk and their event from their buddies.

Events will take place at the Tony Clarke Reserve. Parents are welcome to attend. If there is enough interest, we would be happy to add a parent race!

Again, thanks goes to David for his organisation of another great sports event.

Kind regards

Cathie
