From the Principal

As we approach the end of Term 1, I am delighted to reflect on the positive start we have had at St Augustine's College. The term has been filled with a multitude of activities and events that have engaged and enriched our students both academically and socially.

Our Year 12 students commenced their final year with a reflective retreat, setting the tone for a successful year ahead. We were privileged to host players from the Essendon Football Club (despite being a Hawthorn supporter), who shared their insights and inspired our students with their stories of teamwork.

Our students also participated in various camps and immersive experiences, including the Partnerships Camp, Year 7 Camp, Foundation and Year 1 Stay Back, Year 2 Sleepover and the F-4 Our Common Home immersion. These activities have not only provided our students with opportunities for personal growth and development but have also strengthened the bonds within the St Augustine’s community.

In addition to these extracurricular activities, our focus on teaching and learning has remained paramount. Our dedicated staff have continued to implement innovative and engaging teaching practices, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to achieve their full potential. Our curriculum related excursions have further enhanced the learning experience, providing real world context to the concepts taught in the classroom.

As we look forward to the remainder of the term and beyond, I am confident that with the continued support of our staff, students, parents and the broader community, St Augustine's College will continue to thrive and grow.
