Grade 2

In Grade 2 this week, we have been working on our place value in maths and collecting data. In writing we have been writing recounts about our weekends. On Tuesday afternoon we had a fun time creating and designing an item that floats and an item that sinks. We had so much fun working with our friends and challenging ourselves. In reading we have been focussing on our individual reading goals and making text-to-self connections.

Prep

This week Prep students have been learning how to write a personal recount about their weekend.

Grade 1

It’s been a very busy week in Grade 1. We’ve been working hard on our sentence structure writing about the amazing turnip we found in the front of the school.

Students have been learning to skip count by 5’s and about shapes and months of the year.

In reading students have been working on their fluency and using the iPads to support their reading.
