A FEW COMPASS TIPS AND TRICKS

 

Did you know that in the main menu of Compass under the 'More' option at the bottom of the page, there is a tab option called 'School Documents'? This is where you can find the link to Aplus Schoolwear to order uniforms, saved copies of newsletters and a link to our website where you can find policies and procedures.  There is also a link for Spriggy (Canteen ordering) and a link to 'Parent's guide to Compass'.

 

There is an 'Event' tab where you can see the details of an event again and from there you can see if you have already made payment.

 

If you go to your homepage and tap on the photo of your child, it will take you to a dashboard where you can log absences under 'attendance note'.

 

If your child is late or you are collecting early, you just log them in or out via the kiosk at the office .  You do not need to log an attendance note via the Compass App.  The Attendance note is only if they are going to be absent for the whole day.

 

Events, Payments and Consent

 

If consent and payment for events have not been given by the due date, unfortunately, your child/children will miss out.  We have a duty of care when managing events and need to have all information, numbers of students and number of staff organised and that is why we have a due date.  There will be no exemptions to this.  Your children's safety is our priority and organisation is pivotal to helping events run as smoothly as possible. 

 

Please also be aware that if you do not wish to pay for events online, we will take payments at the office.  Once we have processed the payment for you, you will then still need consent the event on Compass.

 

You will no longer have the option to select CSEF/Credit when it comes to events.  If you have CSEF or know that you have credit on your account, please call the office and we can allocate that payment for you.  You will have to go in and consent to the event once allocation has been made.
