School Values

Our classrooms have been focussing on our school expectation matrix and the school value of respect.  Our matrix give us a clear set of expectations for the whole school about how we conduct ourselves in our classrooms and out in the yard.  At St Louis we have a positive behaviours focus when looking at how we teach and reinforce our expectations.

Positive behaviours in the classroom and wider school refer to actions and attitudes exhibited by both teachers and students that contribute to a supportive, respectful, and conducive learning environment. These behaviours foster a sense of community, engagement, and mutual respect among all members of the classroom.

Have a look at some of the amazing work about respect going on around the school.

Our Prep classes have been discussing what respect looks like and what it does not look like.  Here are some of the posters they have created for their room.
