Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you to our parents who attended the Parent Teacher Conversations this week. For our
parents, these conversations offer invaluable insights into how your child has settled into the year and their academic achievements so far. For teachers, it is an opportunity to meet families and gain invaluable information about students from who know them the best - their parents! These nights are also a way to connect with our staff, students, and families and foster a partnership between home and school life. When we build strong relationships and work together it has a positive impact on student success.
Our first School Advisory Council meeting will be on Tuesday 5th March at 7 pm. If you are interested in being part of the School Advisory Council and in attending the meeting, please complete the link below.
Our Prep 2025 school tours commenced this week, we had quite a few families attend the tours already. We will be having school tours each Thursday at 10 am and an information session on Tuesday 23rd April at 7 pm. Please scan the QR code if you would like to attend.
IMPORTANT Canteen Update: A reminder that only icy poles/icecreams will be available for purchase during breaks. All other snacks will need to be ordered via COMPASS and will be sent to classrooms with lunch orders. We are still in urgent need of parent helpers in our canteen, if you could spare a couple of hours please contact Mr. Pietryk via email: mpietryk@olps.vic.edu.au
Just a reminder that school gates open at 3:15 pm each day, there seems to be quite alot of parents entering the school before this time. For the safety of our students and to respect our learning program, I ask that parents refrain from entering the school before this time.
