PASCHA PRAYER CARDS
Pascha is an ancient word that means Easter. In 2024 the children Leaders are going to lead the praying of the Pascha Prayer cards daily (K-6) at the end of the day (similar to the Regina Caeli).
Holy Week starts on Monday of Week 8 just after Palm Sunday. This prayer card is fun for children, takes a few minutes and links with the RE Curriculum. It helps to orientate the children to the reverence of this Holy Week that leads us through Holy Thursday and the Last Supper, Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
Parents and grandparents can help us and do the same activity at home also. If you would like Pascha Prayer cards for your children to use at home please email pollingerm@syd.catholic.edu or catch me at the school gate and I will gift them to you with instructions.
KINDERGARTEN PARENTS
We would like to invite you to a Stop, Pray and Reflect (S.P.a.R) followed by afternoon tea in the hall. If you’re able, please feel free to bring a plate to share.

What: Year 1 Class Mass.
Where: Holy Family Church, Maroubra
When: Friday 15 March, 2024
Time 9.10am.
For Year 1 parents and grandparents interested in doing a reading with your grandchild/child at this Mass please email pollingerm@syd.catholic.edu.au and I will be in touch.
We will be offering hospitality after Mass so parents and grandparents can enjoy a coffee together and meet new and old friends.. The children will be joining us to have their “Crunch & Sip” in the hall.

INVITATION TO RELAX WITH YOUR CHILD
We invite parents to join their children to Relax & Meditate lead by Mary Dillon Pollinger in the Church. This is a lovely opportunity to join your child’s world for ‘Relaxation & Meditation’. We will teach your child a relaxation technique, prayer and meditation that will help their well-being and faith to grow. Please see below when your class are attending.
