FAMILY PARISH MASS

Thank you to all the families who joined us at our Family Parish Mass last Sunday. It was a beautiful way to start our Sunday together as a community and to come together to celebrate our faith and gather together for morning tea.

A special thank you to all the families who bought a plate to share for morning tea and to all the students who sang the recessional song.

YEAR OF PRAYER

Following a year devoted to reflecting on documents and studying the outcomes of the Second Vatican Council in 2023, Pope Francis has called for 2024 to be designated as a Year of Prayer. The Holy Father officially launched this initiative on Sunday, January 21, 2024, during the fifth annual celebration of the 'Sunday of the Word of God.' In a letter dated February 11, 2022, addressed to the Pro-prefect, Archbishop Rino Fisichella, for the organization of the Jubilee, the Pope expressed his joy in dedicating the preceding year, 2024, to a profound 'symphony' of prayer.

When we pray we connect with God, grow as individuals, express gratitude, find strength in tough times, build community, remember important teachings, and reflect on life's meaning. It's a way of talking to God, being thankful, and supporting each other in their faith journey. During this year of prayer, take some time to engage in prayer with your family.

YEAR 3 STORY TELLING

Year Three have been exploring the Parable of the Talents. They discussed the different talents God has given them and about how important it is to use them for the good of others.

It was wonderful to see the students exploring the message of this important parable with our storytelling kits.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week!
