ITALIAN

What's been happening in Italian?

Over the last few weeks the children in Year 1 and 2 have been practising the spelling of the Greetings.  They have loved showing their expertise by writng the words on the whiteboard.

They also had fun finding the words in a Word Search Activity.  It was lovely to see the children helping each other to find the more tricky words.

The children in Year 3 and 4 have learnt the Italian names for family members.  They drew their family members and labelled each in Italian.

The children in Prep are learning a new song about family members using a family of fish under the sea  (Pesciolini sotto il mare) to teach them.

The children in Year 5 and 6 have been writing about themselves.  They included such things as their name, age, their date of birth, their nationality, their height, hair and eye colour, passtime activities, who their friends are and where they go to school.   They were also asked to draw a picture of themself to reflect what they wrote.

Keep up the excellent work everyone!
