Week 5
Prep to Year 2 students experimented with paint sticks, exploring primary and secondary colours in their sketchbooks. With bold strokes, they blended hues like red, blue and yellow to discover the creation of new colours.
Year 3 and 4 students have been channelling their inner Picasso as they create inspired drawings using a roll and a Picasso template. They've embraced the unconventional shapes and bold lines characteristic of Picasso's style, using their imagination to craft their own unique artwork.
Year 5 and 6 students have continued their exploration of half portraits from last week.
Week 6
In Prep to Year 2, students are exploring primary and secondary colours using watercolour paints. Through playful experimentation, they discover the magic of colour blending, using templates to help this process.
Year 3 students have been working on a secret artwork for the reconciliation - stay tuned!
In their latest lesson, Year 4 students selected a Picasso-inspired piece from their previous session to transform into a final artwork using watercolour paints.
The 5/6 students have been experimenting with watercolour paints and exploring colour choice to ensure their artwork stands out.
