House Spirit - Run/Walk Club (Friday Morning)

On Friday we had our first every Friday morning run/walk club! It was a huge success with 554 laps completed by a range of students from Prep to Grade 6! Every lap completed by students contributed a point to their House team. Here are the points earned per team on Friday morning:

A huge effort by all students who joined in. There is a house cup sitting in the front office that will be updated to display the weekly winner as well as a display in the 5/6 building window that will be updated each week.

All students welcom to join us again this week. Please wear something in your house colour so your captains can award your points easily. We will also have coloured bands if you forget though.

Remember to wait until the gates open, drop your bag outside your classroom and then join us on the oval.

Summer Sport Gala Days

Congratulations to all our Grade 5/6 student who have particpated in 2 Sport Gala Days over the last 2 weeks. Students participated in Basketball at Mullum Mullum Stadium, T20 Cricket & Hot Shots at Yarra Valley, Sofcrosse and Volleybounce at Great Ryrie and Tee Ball at Croydon Hills. We competed against 9 other schools from our District and it was an excellent level of competition for our students to experience.

Congratulations to our Cricket B Team who came away winners at the end of the 2 days of competition.

Our sport leaders are currently working on a more detailed write up of each sport which will be included in our next newsletter.

District Tennis

Congratualations to Harrison T from Grade 5 who represented Holy Spirit at the District Tennis Competition on Friday 8th March. He had a wonderful day of competition just narrowly missing out on qualifying for the Division level.

Amazing job, Harry!

Keep Active!
