P&F Update

Next P&F meeting 7.30pm Tues 26 March

All parents and carers are invited to join our next P&F meeting at 7.30pm on Tues 26 March (final week of term) in the P&F room. We will be discussing our parent social night for Term 2 and Mother’s day events.

Colour Run Success!

A HUGE thank you to the parents, students and teachers for all your support for our Colour Run last week! The children had an absolute ball, as you can see from the photos below. Our final fundraising tally and the winners of our top fundraising prizes will be announced at assembly on Friday.

Holy Spirit Dads’ Night a hit

Approx 50 Holy Spirit dads came along to hear Dr Ben Robbins, Head of Psychology and Wellbeing at Essendon Football Club to talk about managing stress and anxiety, improving motivation and practicing self-compassion. The feedback from the dads was excellent and we would like to thank Holy Spirit community member Sean Young for arranging Ben’s visit.

Second-hand Uniform Shop Friday 15th March

Our next session will be held at 2.45pm-3.20pm on Friday 15th March in the P&F room. Come and grab a bargain - most items are only $2.

Zooper Dooper Fridays

Come and grab a Zooper Dooper icy pole from the stall on the front lawn every Friday (weather dependent) in Term 1 for only $1. (Cash only)

 

Scholastic Book Club

Orders for Issue 2 are due midday 18 March. Remember, Holy Spirit receives credits for every dollar you spend to use towards books and readers for our students.

STAR Day 22nd March

Holy Spirit will celebrate STAR day on Friday 22nd March, which will coincide with our first Food Day for the year. Students are invited to wear a splash of yellow and purchase an optional lunch order through Burnt Bridge Bakehouse. Lunch orders must be pre-ordered and paid for by 1pm Monday 18th March. Shop for your School at Eastland!

We are very excited to be one of 15 local primary schools participating in Shop for your School at Eastland, giving us a chance to WIN a CASH prize.

1st - $10,000

2nd - $7,000

3rd - $3,000

All you need to do is:

  1. Shop at Eastland’s participating fresh food stores and supermarkets between 4 – 28 March (make sure you keep your receipts).
  2. Click the 'UPLOAD RECEIPTS' button when it appears from 4 March, register your details and nominate Holy Spirit as your school.

Your purchase amount will be converted into points for our school and you automatically go

into the draw to win weekly prizes for yourself!!

 

The top three schools with the most points at the end of the campaign will WIN a cash prize.
