Laudato Si’ Week

On 24 May 2015, Pope Francis issued his encyclical letter on caring for our common home, Laudato Si’. Each year, Laudato Si’ Week gives us an opportunity to renew our commitment to respond to the cries of the earth and the cries of the poor. During Laudato Si’ Week 2024, you are encouraged to tap into the ecological wisdom of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples in Australia and Indigenous Peoples everywhere. Within our school community, our students and staff continue to care for our common home. The St Kilian’s Parish Community Garden is a wonderful place in our community to remember how we can all care for our common home. Location: School Grounds Cost: $5.00 (Includes Food)

Important: Payment must be made in advance.

No tickets will be sold on the night.

Event Schedule:

Prep / Grade 1 / Grade 2: 6:00pm – 6:45pm

All Students (Games & Food): 6:45pm – 7:15pm

Grade 3 / Grade 4 / Grade 5 / Grade 6: 7:15pm – 8:00pm

Only current St Kilian’s Primary School students may attend.

Children must be dropped off and picked up by an adult.

2026 Foundation Enrolment Process

Applications are called from parents wishing to enrol children in Foundation (Prep) and other classes at St Kilian’s Primary School for the 2026 school year.

Enrolments open: Tuesday 22nd April 2025 and close: Friday 23rd May 2025

Children may be enrolled to start school in February of the year in which they turn five, provided their birthday is on or before the 30th of April.
