French

French Update - In class this week
It’s been a busy and fun-filled week in French!
- Years 3/4 have been working on animals and seasons, and have enjoyed creating miniature farms as part of their learning.
- Years 5/6 have contributed to our garden by helping grow poppies in time for ANZAC Day – a lovely blend of language and cultural learning.
- Years 1/2 are helping to water our newly planted marigolds and have been enjoying making animal origami as part of their animal unit.
- Preps and 1/2s have been focusing on numbers 1–50, colours, shapes, and some basic farm animals.
Across all levels, students have been engaged and enthusiastic, participating in a mixture of songs, artwork, and role-plays to bring their French learning to life!
Please let me know if your child would like any extension work. I’m happy to make up a folder of harder work for them to complete during class time or at home.
