Anzac Day Poppies - Grade 3
The Grade 3/4 students have been learning about the significance of Anzac Day this week. To support their learning, the Grade 3 students came into the art room and made some 3D poppies to remember this very important day. They were able to tell me many interesting facts that they had learnt, maybe they could share them with you too!
Grade 4 Graffiti Name Fences
The Grade 4 students have been looking at graffiti art, and have completed their graffiti name fences. This project was quite the process! Students had to:
- Make a fence out of popsicle sticks;
- Draw their name design;
- Trace their design onto their fence;
- Paint backgrounds with acrylic paint;
- Add details with Posca paint pens;
- Make a stand out of plasticine; and
- Make plants/grass/details for in front of their fence.
How awesome to do they look! These will be on display in the foyer for a couple of weeks, come and check them out!
