News from our Principal..

...Mrs Clarke...

As we move into the final weeks of Term 2, I want to take this moment to acknowledge the efforts of our students and staff with their learning and progress across the school.

Classrooms have been buzzing as students consolidate their learning completing assessment tasks and teachers are preparing Semester 1 report cards.  These reports provide a snapshot of your child's academic progress and effort, we encourage all families to take the time to celebrate successes.

Prep 2026 Preview session will be held this Wednesday morning (9.15-10am), this is an informal opportunity for prospective and already enrolled children (and parents) to view the current Preps in their classrooms undertaking lessons.

Our school is hosting Under 8's (and Over 80's) entry near the hall.  All community members are welcome to come along to this fun event.

NAIDOC Week celebrations are planned during Week 10, including our Year 6 children participating in the Goondiwindi NAIDOC town march - Wednesday June 25.

Finally, we continue to focus on the importance of wearing with pride the school uniform every day, as well as the importance of daily attendance.  Every day counts in building strong learning foundations.  Thank you for your efforts in getting children to school on time, in uniform and ready to learn.

Thank you for your continued support, it is truly a team effort and we are proud of the learning and growth happening each day at our school.
