Commemorating Anzac Day

This week, our school came together to commemorate Anzac Day and reflect on the sacrifices made by Australian and New Zealand servicemen and women, both past and present. Our school leaders and Mr Ru shared the history and significance of Anzac Day, reminding us of the bravery, resilience, and mateship shown by the Anzacs at Gallipoli and in many other conflicts. A moment of silence was held following the Last Post, giving everyone the opportunity to pause and reflect.

Throughout the week, students engaged in a range of classroom activities to deepen their understanding of this important part of our history. Some classes read picture books, others created artwork, and others explored historical accounts and learned about the experiences of those in war.

We are proud of the respectful way our students honoured the Anzac spirit and took part in learning that helps them understand the importance of remembrance.

Personalised Learning with our Intervention Teachers

At Trinity, we are committed to ensuring every child reaches their full potential, especially in the core subjects of Maths and Literacy. At times, students may need a little extra help and our intervention teachers, Miss Kate, Miss Annie and Mrs Evans, play a key role in this by providing targeted support.

Working either one-on-one or in small groups, our intervention teachers use an explicit instruction teaching approach where instruction is direct, engaging and success orientated. This targeted support helps build confidence, strengthen key skills, and boost overall progress.

Our intervention teachers work closely with class teachers to ensure consistency and alignment with classroom learning. By sharing strategies and tracking progress together, they create a supportive learning environment where students can thrive.

Using a range of engaging resources, our intervention staff help make learning accessible and enjoyable for all. Whether it’s breaking down tricky maths concepts or supporting reading fluency, their dedicated efforts make a real difference.

They not only support academic growth but also foster a positive attitude towards learning. We are proud of the impact our intervention teaching team has on helping students achieve success and feel confident in their abilities.
