Farewell Pope Francis

As we join the Church in praying for the repose of the soul of Pope Francis, 

we are also beginning to pray for the election of a new Pope.

God of Mercy and Mission,​

We thank you for the gift of Pope Francis, a teacher of truth, a friend of the poor, 

a shepherd who walked with courage and joy. 

Thank you for the ways he inspired us to build a better world.

Help us to continue his work by being Pilgrims of Hope, like he was.

May he rest in Your peace.

Yesterday we came gathered to remember Pope Francis and thank God for his life. We also prayed for our church leaders as they enter the Conclave next week.
