TERM 2 WEEK 2 2025
Welcome to the start of Term 2! We’re thrilled to have our students back in the classroom and ready to dive into another term full of learning and growth. We hope you all enjoyed a refreshing break, making lasting memories with family and friends.
As we move into Term 2, let's continue working together to create a supportive and dynamic learning environment for everyone.
We are really excited to welcome three new staff members to the LNPS Community.
Ella Sheffield has joined our Admin Team in the Front Office and brings valuable experience, from Woodville High, Fulham North Primary and the private school sector.
Outside of work, Ella enjoys camping and boating with her partner and their dogs and family, as well as discovering new places to eat around Adelaide.
Jenny Wei is our new OSHC Director. Jenny is 28 years old and has lived in Adelaide for the past 11 years, after moving from the small town of Bordertown. She spent several years teaching, particularly in Year 6, which she loved. With a deep passion for teaching, learning, and well-being, Jenny feels lucky to be able to do this every day.
In her current role, she strives to create positive, adventurous, and enriching experiences for children, encouraging them to take risks, explore their passions, and build lifelong skills and friendships. Jenny is also passionate about the growing importance of OSHC services and enjoys advocating for positive change through various boards. Believing strongly in the power of community, she is excited to help integrate OSHC with the wider school to ensure every child’s day is fulfilling and fun.
Outside of work, Jenny enjoys spending time at the beach, doing Pilates, or catching up with friends over coffee. She looks forward to meeting everyone and contributing to the vibrant community.
We would like to welcome Isaac Noles as the new Assistant Director of our LNPS OSHC team. Isaac has spent roughly 7 years working in the OSHC system, having previously worked as the Assistant Director at Concordia College.
Isaac is a registered teacher and has experience working in inclusive learning, specifically in the Junior Primary year levels. Isaac brings a keen interest and experience working in inclusive education, and working with children with additional needs. In his spare time, Isaac has interests in all sports, especially AFL (unfortunately, a St Kilda supporter).
He also enjoys running, playing music and going to the beach. He is very much looking forward to starting at LNPS and meeting our community.
We had some work undertaken over the holidays to maintain and continue to improve our amazing school grounds.
Works undertaken include:
Basketball and netball rings installed. New line markings are happening in the coming weeks
Mellor decks had their annual maintenance
Two new drink fountains were installed
Fisher toilets were painted
Thank you to the Community Engagement Committee and the community for all the funds raised for the new basketball and netball rings. They are magnificent!
Morphett is a work in progress while engineers work through the next steps with the floor repairs. There is a meeting in two weeks, so hopefully have an update soon.
We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped make our Election Day BBQ a success. Your time, effort, and support were invaluable, and this event provided a wonderful opportunity to serve the community and connect with our local families. Thank you for helping bring us all together!
