Art with Miss Aitkin

 

With scissors snapping and colours clacking this term we have been learning about different cutting techniques and complementary colours. Complementary colours can be found on opposites of the colour wheel and they look good together. We see them everywhere without even knowing; football teams, cartoon charaters, avertising posters.

The Grade 1/2s are using fringe cuts to make truffula trees from Dr Seuss' story The Lorax.
