Well, we are already halfway through another busy and exciting week at St Joseph’s.
Last Friday, we celebrated Book Week with a wonderful dress-up day and an entertaining performance by The Blurbs. It was fantastic to see so many creative and imaginative costumes on display during the parade. Our students also enjoyed spending time in their family groups, participating in a range of Book Week activities together. It is safe to say that everyone had a fantastic day! A special thank you to Mrs Mel Worme for her hard work behind the scenes in creating the book displays and organising the activities that helped make the celebration such a success.
Our Swimming Program has also been a great success this week. Students have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to get out of the classroom and into the pool while developing their swimming skills and confidence. A very sincere thank you to Mrs Aimie Brown for her extensive planning, preparation, and organisation to ensure the program runs so smoothly and provides such a positive experience for our students. As a reminder, please ensure your child brings their extra clothing and required swimming items on their allocated day, as communicated via email on Tuesday.
Finally, thank you to the members of our community who have provided feedback regarding the Highway Patrol presence on Monday afternoon. At this stage, there have been no changes to our pick-up zone procedures, so we ask that families continue to follow the existing guidelines as usual. Should there be any changes to the current signage or arrangements, we will communicate these promptly with the community.
We are already seeing positive improvements in traffic flow, congestion, and safety in the areas that were previously of concern. Thank you for your ongoing cooperation and commitment to keeping our school community safe.
Enrolments 2027
We are currently planning for the 2027 school year and have been delighted by the exceptional interest and enrolments for Foundation. A limited number of Foundation places have recently become available.
If you know of any families considering St Joseph’s for 2027, I encourage them to contact our school office as soon as possible to discuss enrolment opportunities and avoid missing out. We also have limited vacancies in some of our other year levels.
School Engagement Survey
