Principal's Report

Dear Parents, Friends and Father Arsenio,

It is the time of year when I am working on staffing for next year. Judy Smith our DP has requested 12 months leave as has Beth our Art teacher. As a results Kayla will step into the DP role and Sarah DeJong has been employed to teach Art.

Sherree our PA teacher has kindly offered to showcase our children's singing talents. She has offered to do this via a 'Carols' performance on Wednesday 13 December. I appreciate the time in the afternoon is not friendly for parents who need to work. We'd like to see if this works this year with a view to making adjustments to run it later in the day next year.

Our Prep transition program has started.  As a part of this, we ran our new family information session during the last of these. It was well attended and we would love feedback about it, particularly the timing.

COVID seems to be doing the rounds again. I still have RAT's available to any families who require. If your child is unwell please keep them home, or at a minimum please test them.

Our P&F have met their fundraising target this year and as a result of this we will soon be installing a 'ninja warrior’ adventure playground under the shade sails. I am working with three companies to get the necessary quotes in. This will be a great community asset for years to come. My thanks to the P&F.
