Staff Professional Learning  

The VCAA (Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority) recently published Version 2.0 of the Victorian Mathematics Curriculum. While not mandatory until 2025, our teachers will be delivering this new curriculum in 2024 and we’ve wasted no time preparing to do so. 

To date, our teachers have undertaken two Professional Learning sessions, with a focus on familiarising ourselves with the changes and new content, and the development of a yearly overview of learning at each year level. Further sessions will involve the analysis of previously taught units of work to cross check curriculum content, and the placement of newly developed units within updated planning document templates. 

Education is ever evolving, and it is a pleasure to work with our CSPS teachers who, through collaboration with one another, embrace change and continuously work to better their practice.
