Prayer & Acknowledgements

Sacred Heart Parish Prayer

God our Father, Bless our Parish so that we may love you more.

Encircle our Families with your loving care.

Help parents to be good examples to their children and our youth to grow in strength as good Christians.

To the sick, grant health. To the aged, bring serenity and to those in sorrow, joy.

May we grow stronger in faith and may our love for one another become deeper in our daily living.

Amen.

Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge and pay respect to the Yorta Yorta people as the original and ongoing custodians of the land upon which we meet today. We commit to actively working alongside First Nations people for healing, reconciliation and justice.

The Catholic education faith community is inclusive and acknowledges that we are all made in the image and likeness of God and we are created in love. People of all faiths, genders, sexualities and cultures are therefore respected equally in the Sandhurst Catholic community.

We acknowledge the pain and suffering of all who have been hurt in body, mind and spirit by those who have betrayed the trust placed in them.

May we all stand tall, stand firm, grounded in truth, together as one.
