Preschool 

A Busy Term 4

We have been busy with events and celebrations in the last few weeks at the preschool. 

The children thoroughly enjoyed a mini sports day which created lots of excitement.

We also celebrated Diwali with our preschool community and participated in activities including experimenting with Henna designs and cooking a vegetable curry with the children. We watched a video explaining the cultural importance of Diwali and we took part in a candle gazing meditation. After watching a video on YouTube on how to make rangoli creations, we had fun trying to make our own rangoli using loose parts and paint. Another activity that the children had fun participating in was cutting and decorating paper lanterns. Diwali was made extra special by students sharing about their celebrations that they do at home. 

Some of our children graduated preschool on Tuesday this week and have been participating in transition visits to the school.  We wish them the very best in 2024.
