Concert

What a great night we all had on Thursday 9th November at our celebration concert. The students all performed with confidence and it was fabulous to see their hard work performed on the stage. The instrumental music students were a highlight as the preshow entertainment. They have certainly practised a lot which was evident in their talented performances. It was also great to hear our choir perform and our newly formed percussion group. You were all amazing!

Thank you to all of the families, friends and community members who supported our students on this important night. It was great to see so many of you there.

Children's University Graduation

During week 5, a group of students attended a graduation ceremony at Bonython Hall as part of Children's University. These students spent time outside of school participating in a variety of activities and undertaking learning opportunities which they then registered with Children's University in their passport. At the conclusion of their involvement, their hours were collated and they were awarded with the appropriate certificate or diploma. Congratulations to all of the students involved with special congratulations to Ryan who completed the most hours of any Para Vista PS student.

Marnintyarla - Just too deadly graduation

On Wednesday this week, Tahmia and Lebroyne joined Year 6 Aboriginal students from our neighbouring schools to participate in a graduation ceremony. They received a certificate, t-shirt and other items as part of their gift. Prior to the graduation, Jack Buckskin performed a smoking ceremony and played the didgeridoo. STAR Girls also showcased a dance performance.

Congratulations to Tahmia and Lebroyne on their graduation as well as Eleni and Lynieisha her were unable to attend.
