Curriculum Day – Monday 3 August

We would like to let families know that Monday 3 August is a Curriculum Day at Balambalam Primary School. Students are not required to attend school on this day as staff will be participating in professional learning and planning to support our ongoing school improvement priorities.

For families requiring care, TeamKids will be operating a full-day holiday program on Monday 3 August. Bookings are essential and can be made directly through the TeamKids website or app. We encourage families to book early to secure a place.

We look forward to welcoming all students back to school on Tuesday 4 August.

As we come to the end of another busy and successful term, I would like to thank our students, staff and families for their ongoing support and partnership throughout the semester.

The school holidays provide a wonderful opportunity to slow down, recharge and spend quality time with family and friends. I encourage everyone to take some time to rest, enjoy the break and create special memories together.

My family and I will be escaping the winter chill and heading to Port Douglas for the holidays. I'm looking forward to some warmer weather, family time and the chance to return refreshed and ready for an exciting Term 3.

Next term, one of the highlights will be celebrating 100 Days of School. This year, we will be marking this special milestone as a whole-school community. It will be a fantastic opportunity to celebrate learning, growth and all that our students have achieved during the first 100 days of the school year. I know our students are already looking forward to joining in the fun.

On behalf of the staff at Balambalam Primary School, I wish all of our families a safe, happy and relaxing holiday break. Thank you for being such an important part of our school community. We look forward to welcoming everyone back next term, ready for another great chapter of learning together.
