A Midsummer Night's Dream

Congratulations to all members of the Cast and Crew for this years’ Production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare.

To everyone who showed their support by attending as a member of our audience, our story-telling means very little without you.  We thank you for the good vibes you brought to the theatre. The complexities of Shakespeare, both language and narrative were embraced by this brave cast. Their intelligent, playful and creative interpretations were engaging and resulted in a most professional performance.

An artistic endeavour such as this cannot be achieved without the support of our exceptional community. On behalf of the cast I would like to thank the 30 staff who assisted during Production week, whom we acknowledged at assembly on Wednesday. Our parents - Mrs Alison Lynton, Mrs Erica May and Mrs Sarah Nicholls for the brilliant work with costuming. Mr and Mrs Pacopac for generously feeding and hydrating us in production week.  And all parents who supported their child during this journey.

To St Joseph’s Year 5 classes, Santa Clara’s Year 6’s and some students from St Claire’s - you were a brilliant warm-up audience in our Matinee – some say our most lively audience.

I am incredibly fortunate to be a member of an exceptional Arts Team who willingly share their creative skills and give generously of their time – in particular Mr Craig Mecham for his extraordinary work in creating a spectacular set, it was enchanting; Mr Luke Di Labio for bravely taking on the new sound system to run all the head-mics and, with precision, sounding the magical chime on cue.  To Mrs Kathryn Crocker who managed the movement of cast backstage and all the various demands that comes with this. All support elevated our performance.

Until next year ... adieu.

Instrumental/Voice Lessons Term 3 2026

Please note the following reminders:

  • All students currently enrolled in lessons are automatically re-enrolled for their selected lessons from term to term. To avoid any financial penalty, Arts Administration must be notified in writing by the parent/carer of any withdrawal no later than Wednesday, 1 July 2026.

  • If a student is absent due to illness or an appointment, tutors and/or Arts Administration must be notified directly by a parent/carer, not the student.

  • Students are responsible for checking their lesson times and arranging any lesson swaps directly with other students. Once a swap has been agreed upon, it is the student’s responsibility to notify Arts Administration so the change can be updated in SEQTA and the student is not marked absent.

  • Students are encouraged to record their lesson times in their diary. Alternatively, parent/carers may set up reminders through their child’s SNC SEQTA Engage timetable. Please contact Arts Administration for instructions on how to do this.

We appreciate your attention to these matters and look forward to continuing to support your child’s musical journey. Should you have any questions or require assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
