Year 7

As we move through Term 2, our Year 7 students have continued to engage enthusiastically in a range of learning and community experiences across the College.
During Week 2.4, students participated in Wellbeing Wednesday activities during Extended Homeroom. These sessions provided valuable opportunities for students to strengthen connections with their peers and focus on positive wellbeing practices.
Our Year 7 Xanten students also celebrated their very first Xanten Founders Day, participating in a House Liturgy followed by a shared pizza lunch together, a wonderful occasion to build House spirit and community.
In Week 2.5, Year 7 students attended a Waterwise Incursion during their Humanities lessons. This engaging and educational experience helped students develop a deeper understanding of sustainability and water conservation. Many thanks to the Humanities and Social Sciences Department for organising this wonderful opportunity for our Year 7 cohort.
Looking ahead to Week 2.7, students will take part in their first St Norbert Day celebrations. Students should now be aware of the activity they will be participating in and have an understanding of how the day will run. Should there be any questions or concerns, students are encouraged to come and speak with me. A reminder that all students are required to wear their full winter sports uniform on the day, including their College tracksuit.
We look forward to another positive and exciting few weeks ahead for our Year 7 students.
