If you opened a store, what would you sell?

Soup. I think I’d start small - just one or two soups ladled out of a cart in Fitzroy Gardens. The cart would have those big metal canisters to keep the soup warm, and I’d serve it in styrofoam cups with a torn-off piece of slightly stale crusty bread. The bread would probably be free. The soup would be simple: maybe pumpkin and miso, tomato and basil, and every so often the odd Greek Lemon & Chicken soup if I could ever get it right.

If your life had a theme song, what would it be?

Woke Up This Morning by Alabama 3.

What fictional character do you relate to?

The Very Hungry Catepillar.

What is your best advice to feel good on a bad day?

“I’m a big believer in winging it. I’m a big believer that you’re never going to find perfect city travel experience or the perfect meal without a constant willingness to experience a bad one.” Anthony Bourdain (2012)

If you could shout out 1 person, who would you choose right now?

I'd like to shout out my mum, Nicole Phillips, for her amazing work and leadership at Buniyong Primary School. She is the reason I began teaching and my inspiration to become a part of education system. Love and miss you Mum!
