Message from the

Principal

Dear Families,

As we approach the end of Semester One, I’ve been reflecting on all that we’ve achieved together as a learning community over the past 20 weeks.

It’s hard to know where to begin.

As a staff, we’ve established a consistent and shared language around behaviour expectations, planning, and the teaching of literacy and numeracy. We’re deepening our connections in ways that support meaningful learning and the transfer of knowledge. We’ve opened our classrooms to colleagues and experts, and we’ve engaged in honest, sometimes challenging conversations - about data, expectations, gaps in practice, and even our own vulnerabilities when faced with uncertainty.

You, our parents and carers, have been incredibly supportive - particularly in upholding our focus on school uniform and regular attendance. Your partnership makes a real difference.

And our students have been phenomenal. They’ve embraced new routines and learning platforms, and—most importantly—they’re recognising how these tools are enhancing their learning and growth.

I’m immensely proud of our staff and students, and I’m excited to continue our Magnify journey in Semester Two.

Thank you for everything you do and for the trust you place in our school’s leadership and teaching staff. Wishing you all a safe and restful holiday break.

Farewell and Best Wishes

We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Kim Carter for her outstanding contribution to St Therese’s over the past two and a half years. Kim’s superpowers—her exceptional organisation and clear thinking—have been a true asset to our school community, and she has shared them with generosity and grace. We wish Kim every success in her new leadership role at Catherine McAuley College. She will be greatly missed.

We also farewell Marcia Arnold, who will be commencing maternity leave at the end of the term. We send our warmest wishes to Marcia, Geoff, Jean, and Phoebe as they prepare to welcome a new addition to their family.

Best of luck to Melissa Parker (K.E.W and LSO), and thank you for your dedicated work over the past few years, supporting both students and staff across the school. Your contribution has been greatly appreciated

Supervision Hours (Repeat)

Please note the schoolyard is unsupervised before 8:30 am. There are still many, many children on the grounds prior to this time.

For the safety of your children, I am asking that they are not dropped off at school before 8:30 am.
