🌈 SRC Rainbow Day 🌈

What a colourful and fun-filled day we had last Friday for Rainbow Day! Students proudly wore their grade colours to help create a vibrant, whole-school rainbow. The celebration continued with the chance to enjoy a Rainbow Paddle Pop and take part in a colouring competition.

Congratulations to the winners of the colouring competition:

• Stage 3 - Samantha Halpin

Thanks to everyone’s amazing participation, our SRC successfully raised &715.20, which will go directly toward school improvements—guided by feedback collected from each class. We’ll be deciding how to use the funds at our next SRC meeting.

A big thank you to all students, staff, and families who supported this event with enthusiasm and school spirit!

Here is our Senior Choir collaborating with students from Sheahan and St Mary's as they prepare for a combined Catholic Schools of Orange performance at the upcoming Sheahan Showcase next week.

Orange City Council is currently developing two important plans for our city’s future:

• The Open Space and Recreation Strategy
• The Active Transport Strategy

 These strategies will guide how we plan, design and manage sports fields, parks, open spaces, and recreation facilities across Orange for the next 10 years. They will also shape how we improve walking and cycling infrastructure to make active travel safer, easier, and more attractive for everyone in our community.

As schools play a vital role in the everyday lives of children, families and staff, your input and the input of your broader school community, is incredibly valuable. We invite you to take part in two short surveys, one for each strategy, to share your thoughts and help influence future planning.
