Year 3/4 Cluster News
Home inquiry: In Year 3/4 we expect that children will read every day for 15 minutes. We also recommend that students continue to practice the use of the four operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication & division). There is a 10 minutes a day times table app on iPads for students to use and Studyladder Pods (Time/ Fractions/ Multiplication) for students to access.

Learning this week:
GLOW Week is an opportunity for students to learn a new skill, try something new and be with different people. Please remember that the group your child will be placed in may not be with their friends.
In Week 9, we reflect on the ‘Where we are in place and time’ unit of inquiry and publish information texts about the impacts of Colonisation on the environment, people, culture. Students are constructing dioramas to show changes before and after Colonisation.
Mathematics: Continue to focus on time and exploring duration (days, hours, minutes, seconds), analogue and digital clocks and understanding hands. We will also be solving problems using am and pm and use timetables.
Christian Studies: Exploring morals/ ethics through a range of Bible Stories to recognise how our decisions impact interactions and relationships with others.

GLOW WEEK
Thank you to all those people who bought plant vouchers for the school. Can you please email these into school office. We also need a copy of your driver’s license as proof of address. Alternatively, you can drop these into the office, and they will take a photocopy of your license.
Celebration afternoon
Please join us for the celebration afternoon at the conclusion of Glow Week. This will be on Friday 27th June, beginning at 2pm in the worship centre
