Sport

This week, our Sports Academy students enjoyed an exciting excursion to Deakin University, where they explored the Sports Science buildings. During the visit, students were given a guided tour of the state-of-the-art facilities and learned about how they are used for sports and fitness research.
The day was hands-on and engaging, with students participating in a variety of fitness tests. These included the vertical jump test, the AFL agility test to assess speed and movement, and a reaction board test to test reflexes. The experience gave students a fun and educational insight into sports science and how the body works in physical activity.
It was a fantastic day full of learning, movement, and inspiration for our future athletes and scientists!
