PARENT INFORMATION SESSION

HELPING KIDS SURVIVE AND THRIVE IN THE DIGITAL AGE
A workshop run by parents FOR parents!
Never has there been a better time to come together to explore the impacts of the digital age on our children – smartphones, social media, and gaming are all changing the way our kids interact, develop and live.
Off the back of the cyber-safety sessions run at the school, Laura and Dan would like to complement this important work to make sure parents are not left behind. We don’t just want our kids to survive; we want them to THRIVE!
Come along to the workshop at the school on Wednesday 13 August at 6.15pm, or on Friday 15 August at 9.15am. to register go to: Helping kids survive and thrive in the digital age Tickets, Moorabbin Primary School, Moorabbin | TryBooking Australia
This is a session for parents and carers of children of ALL AGES - even if you’re not impacted yet, there’s no doubt you will face parenting challenges in our complex digital landscape.
By no means experts, Laura and Dan (parents of grade 3 and grade 6 boys), would love to see you there for a cuppa and some discussion.
The session will include:
- The current situation - the evidence of harm
- Group reflection on what we want for our children
- What we can do - the benefits of collective action (working together)
- Technical tips and tricks
