Congratulations to Year 4K for collecting the most food donations for our Food Drive, which will assist two vital organisations, BayCISS and the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre. Thank you to all our students, families and staff members who made this drive a huge success. At Moorabbin Primary, we can achieve so much when we come together.

LOST PROPERTY

Just another reminder to everyone. Please ensure that you label ALL your child's clothing, lunch boxes and drink bottles. If you have lost something, please go to the breezeway opposite the toilets where you will find wheelie bins with hopefully your child's lost items.

STUDENT APPOINTMENTS/ ARRIVAL DEPARTURE NOTES

If your child has an appointment and is arriving late, or departing early, or has on going appointment during the term, please email to moorabbin.ps@education.vic.gov.au

If your child is a late arrival with no note on Compass, they MUST go to the school office for a late pass.  Please do not drop off your child directly to their classroom.

When your child is leaving early, PLEASE WAIT AT THE OFFICE. Office staff will call your child's classroom and then exit your child; your child will be brought to the office with another student so as to minimise disruptions.

DOES YOUR CHILD HAVE A MEDICAL CONDITION THAT REQUIRES MEDICATION AT SCHOOL?

A medical management plan and a supply of medication must be in place for every child enrolled at Moorabbin Primary School, who has a diagnosed health care need, (e.g. anaphylaxis, diabetes, epilepsy, asthma, allergy or relevant medical condition.

The child’s medical practitioner must prepare and sign the plan, and the parent/carer must then provide the plan and medication to the school.

The Department of Education mandates that only updated medication can be administered. We will contact you when both your child’s plan is up for review and has expired, and also, when their medication is about to expire. Prompt return of these documents/medication will assist the school in managing your child’s condition.

Click on the relevant link below if you require a plan for your medical practitioner to complete.

WORKING WITH CHILDREN CHECK

We value all our volunteers, but we need to ensure that all parents/carers are compliant.

If you have a WWCC, please ensure that it is up to date.  All parents MUST have a valid WWCC to volunteer.

We also require the Child Safety Code of Conduct form signed for our records, which can be download below, or obtained from the school office.

Please visit https://service.vic.gov.au/services/working-with-children to update your details, or to apply.

We contact parent volunteers regularly in relation to updating WWCC. If, however, you no longer are able to volunteer at the school, PLEASE send an email so we can remove your name from our database.
