 Grandparents/Special Friends Day - 9am till 11am

A reminder that tomorrow, Friday 25th July, we will be celebrating Grandparents & Special Friends Day. Join us for a variety of special events, including a Liturgy,

Performance, Craft Activities and BYO shared Morning Tea.

We will gather in the School Hall for a 9am start.

Swimming Program

All students in Year 5/6 will be involved in a Swimming Program over 8 days at Aquastar Swim School – 24 Arco Lane, Heatherton 3202.

Lessons will be 45 minutes long. Your child will have swimming lessons each school day, commencing on Monday, 28 July 2025, and concluding on Thursday, 7 August 2025. There will be no swimming lessons on Fridays.

Congratulations to Ruby M in 5/6AP for participating in the State Library Victoria’s Book Bash which streamed some of the country’s biggest authors live into our classrooms for a daily writing workshop as part of State Library Victoria’s Book Bash!. 

The 3 authors Anh Do , Sally Rippin AND Amelia Mellor sent her some of their books as a thankyou for her online prompting question " WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR INSPIRATION FROM? "

Dates for the 2025 Year - Closure Days 

Parents/carers please note the School Closure dates set for the 2025 school calendar. 

There are 4 days set aside for staff professional development and first aid training.  There are additional 2 days as set aside for staff Time in Lieu Days (TIL)  who are working outside of their expected work hours.   TIL days were introduced as a component of the new Enterprise Bargaining Agreement in 2022.
