Buddies, Indigenous Concert and District Cross Country

What a busy fortnight it has been! Our Year 4 students had the opportunity to meet their Foundation buddies last week. It was an exciting day for both the Year 4’s and the Foundation students. They got to meet and greet their buddies and share a wonderful lunch together. Over the next month, we will continue to enjoy some interactive learning time with our buddies. 

On Thursday the 22nd May, we were lucky enough to participate in an Indigenous incursion. We got to see live music from a talented performer Ganga Giri. Students learnt new dances that resembled Australian animals and were able to immerse themselves in the culture for the afternoon. 

Finally, congratulations to the 60 students who participated in District Cross Country. You represented our school well and we are so proud of all your hard work. Good luck to those that have progressed to the Division Cross Country event! We look forward to hearing all about it.
