Year 4 and Year 5 EAL

The Grade 4 and Grade 5 students have been collaborating on writing stories by each adding a part to continue where the last student left off.

This chain-writing activity encouraged teamwork and imagination as the stories grew. Before illustrating their work, the students practised their editing skills. Once complete the students proudly shared their stories, collectively celebrating their creativity and effort!

Year 1 EAL Maths Group

In Year 1, students have been exploring place value and learning how numbers are made up of tens and ones. Using hands-on materials like linking cubes, they’ve been investigating how to group ones into tens, helping them build a strong understanding of number structure. Through fun and engaging activities, students have practised counting, grouping, and transferring single units into groups of ten—laying important foundations for future learning in Mathematics.
