What a whirlwind of a term it’s been in Year 3/4!
We kicked things off with an unforgettable adventure at camp, visiting Maranatha in Yandina. It was a fantastic time to grow our teamwork and show resilience as we tackled challenges, tried new activities, and supported one another every step of the way. There were lots of laughs, muddy shoes, and memories we’ll never forget!
Back in the classroom, we’ve been hard at work writing information reports on animals. We’ve learned how to research, organise our facts and write in clear paragraphs. Our writing skills are improving every day and we all have some incredible new knowledge about some very interesting and unique animals.
In Maths, we’ve been stretching our brains with problem-solving activities, working together and sharing strategies to find the best solutions. We all agree we need to practice our multiplication facts for next term.
We also had an exciting excursion to Roadcraft, with Mrs Blackburn, where we learned all about road safety, laws and rules. It was such a great experience, and we now know how to be much safer when we’re near or on the road.
Now that our assessments are finished, we’re feeling proud and ready to have some fun. We are all super excited to end the term with one of our favourite events – Sports Day! Time to show our house spirit, cheer on our classmates, and enjoy a great day of friendly competition.
What a term it’s been – full of learning, adventure and growth. Bring on the holidays!
