LENT  and PROJECT COMPASSION  

Thank you to our school families for supporting the 2024 FUNdraising events to raise money for Project Compassion.  Our school community has raised $647.85. The money will be sent to Caritas Australia to support communities in need. This year the students learnt about Ronita from the Philippines, Leaia from Samoa and Memory from Malawi. Please remember these people and their communities in your prayers as well as the world wide Caritas organisation. 

HOLY WEEK and EASTER 

Thank you to the staff and students for making our Holy Week prayer liturgies meaningful, reflective and sacred. Holy Week is one of the most important and holiest weeks in the Catholic Church year, hopefully your child is able to share a memory of the prayer liturgies with you. 

As Mrs Herbison shared with the students at last Monday morning's assembly, Easter does not end on Easter Sunday, the season continues for the next 40 days. When the students return in Term Two, they will learn more about what happened after the resurrection of Jesus  and leading up to the feast of Pentecost, when the disciples received the Holy Spirit.
